This was round two of Hayley and Kyle’s engagement photos. We waited a couple months for it to finally snow in Indy, but man was it worth the wait. Towards the end of the session, the most wonderful, massive snowflakes were falling and it was incredible. It’s definitely never (okay maybe when it’s absolutely FREEZING) a bad idea to get all cozy and warm in your coats and scarves and do your engagement photos in the snow! I really have a love affair with all the seasons because it’s so fun and so wildly different to shoot in all of them, but the only thing that makes me enjoy the winter is shooting cutie pies having fun running around in the snow! This year, I really found out how much I freaking LOVE to shoot in the snowy weather – there’s really nothing like it. I always feel like my couples are way more quick to be cuddly because they’re cold, too, so it’s a double win haha!
We decided to shoot in Lockerbie in downtown Indianapolis and it was an absolute perfect pair with the snow. It had the coziest neighborhood vibes and their dog Haven (how cute is she?!) made it a hundred times cuter. I never can get over the character of this neighborhood, because it’s the best and looks great in every season.
These two are great to third wheel and I can’t wait for their August wedding at one of my favorite venues – Mustard Seed Gardens – this year!
