For the best waterfall scenery, go from June to September so the snow has time to melt for the water to flow. 

How To Get Married In Breckenridge, Colorado

So, how do you elope in Breckenridge exactly? Luckily Colorado makes eloping super easy — you just need to obtain a marriage license in the state. However, some places may need you to make an appointment first so make sure to research the specific area. 

To get a  Colorado marriage license, you’ll need:

• A photo ID like driving license or passport
• Both of you must be present when applying for a marriage license 
• $30 for the license cost (it’s also recommended to get 3 extra copies for $3 each)

As there is no waiting period, you can technically apply for the marriage license and get married on the same day. However, I’d recommend you pick it up beforehand to avoid any unplanned hurdles and stress. 

Lastly, your marriage ceremony could just involve the two of you in private as Colorado allows self-solemnizing, or you could choose to have an officiant. Just make sure to sign it within 35 days and return it within 63 days to make everything official.
