Kyle and Leah’s wedding in remote, southwest Colorado during the month of December is easily one of my favorite days. It’s hard to beat the beauty of a place like this, and to this day I’m still obsessed with this chapel! It looks like it’s straight out of a storybook. It was so beautiful to be a part of it and watch all of their family and friends come together to make it all happen. When you live in the middle of nowhere in southern Colorado, in a town of 500 people, it’s kind of up to you to put together all of the details and make it work. All of Kyle & Leah’s people chipped in in their own ways – Leah’s sister made the cake, the florals were done on their own, and countless friends and family members traveled hundreds of miles to witness their vows. I always love when couples choose to do their wedding their own way and incorporate their own things.
These two are just absolutely fantastic, too. They beautifully incorporated their love for the outdoors and their love for Westcliffe, Colorado in their wedding! Kyle and Leah love hiking, camping, and outdoor rock climbing together, and I love how everything they love just fits in so nicely with the way that they did their wedding!
This intimate wedding filled with their closest family and friends was just perfect. Such a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony, in a wonderful place with so many great people.
