Meagan & David’s fall hiking elopement in Colorado Springs was absolutely beautiful! They found this amazing mid-century cabin on the mountain to rent out while they were staying in the area that made for the perfect backdrop for their detail photos.
Once they were ready, Meagan & David shared a first look right outside their Airbnb before we drove up the mountain to the trailhead for their hike! Originally we were planning on another location, but we ended up arriving pretty late to the trailhead so we switched to a backup spot! We began our hike up to May’s Peak in Colorado Springs. This hike is so beautiful because the whole way up you’re walking through an amazing forest of evergreens. After about a mile and a half, there’s a steep climb to make it up to the viewpoint. When we reached the top, we were all so excited! It was the perfect timing for a sunset ceremony.
Meagan & David exchanged their vows with the light streaming through the trees and touching the mountain peaks behind them. Their ceremony was emotion-filled & heartfelt, and it was so special to witness their love! After that, we spent some time soaking up all the amazing views of the surrounding mountains before starting our hike back down.
This was the quintessential simple & stress-free fall elopement! Fall is one of my favorite times for elopements in Colorado – and Colorado Springs is the perfect location if you’re looking for more mild weather during October!
