Frequently Asked Questions

How many images do you deliver?

There are a lot of factors that play into this, such as how long I’m there for, the number of guests, how much is going on, etc. I usually deliver around 50 images/hour, but I also don’t put a cap on how many photos I deliver! I give essentially every image that isn’t an outtake (eyes closed, exact duplicates, accidental photos of the ground, etc).

What should we wear for pictures?

I have a what to wear guide that I’ll send your way before our shoot! I’ve even made a Pinterest board full of engagement outfit ideas that I’ll send to you as well. Don’t worry, I’ve got you.

How long have you been a photographer?

I started shooting when I was about 15/16, so around 8-ish years! I’ve been doing this full time for the last year and a half!

What kind of gear do you shoot with?

I shoot with two Nikon D800s and another backup just in case. Lenses include Nikon 85mm 1.4, Nikon 50 1.4, Nikon 24-70 2.8, and a Nikon 70-200 2.8. I have a range of focal lengths so I can be prepared for any situation!

What’s your turnaround time?

This depends on the type of session, but for engagements, couples, lifestyle, etc. turnaround is 2-3 weeks. For weddings, photos are delivered in 6-8 weeks. But don’t worry – I always send a preview as soon as I can so you can share photos right away!

Where are you based? Do you travel?

I’m based in Indianapolis. Heck yes I travel! I have packages to fit any sort of travel wedding, elopement, or session and have my passport ready to go for worldwide travel.

We’ve tossed around a few location ideas, and we can’t decide. Can you help?

Absolutely! I’ll help you find the perfect location to get married and take photos. We can talk about what kind of location you’re looking for and I’m happy to recommend some places and help you research! I’ve gotten pretty good at online scouting so I’m always happy to help you decide.

Sounds great! How do we book you?

Now just fill out my contact form and we’ll set up a phone call so I can hear all about you and you can ask me any questions you have! The most important thing is that we’re a good fit for each other and that we’re on the same page. After that, all you need to do is sign a contract and put a retainer down, and then we’re official!
